ASI offers a full scholarship to Italian participants in ISU MSS
The Italian Space Agency (ASI) has decided to augment the cooperation with the International Space University (ISU) and offers from next year onwards a full scholarship for a promising Italian space professional to attend the ISU Master program.
This initiative is in application with the Memorandum Of Understanding signed at the International Astronautical Congress last year in Jerusalem, between the International Space University and the Italian Space Agency, namely Prof. Battiston and Ms. Gabriella Arrigo, and after initial positive experiences.
Interested candidates shall apply to ISU directly. On the basis of an internal evaluation ISU will establish a short-list to ASI where the final candidate will be selected. Note that other good candidates will also receive a partial scholarship offer.
Simone La Torre, graduate of La Sapienza and a recent ISU alumnus (SSP11, MSM13), now working at SES encourages strongly Italian students to apply, stating:
"I entered ISU with a solid engineering background. I then discovered a wealth of other disciplines and skills, which helped me to be hired immediately after graduation in SES, a world leader in the field of telecommunication."
Other ISU graduates are hopefully encouraged by this ASI scholarship to follow his steps!
